We are delighted to announce the appointment of Andrew Houghton as Principal of the Islamic College of Sport and Aspire College of Sport Victoria, commencing 11 January 2027.
Andrew’s appointment marks an exciting milestone as we continue to strengthen the Islamic College of Sport and prepare for the opening of the new year 7-12 Aspire College of Sport in 2028.
Aspire College of Sport represents an important step in our vision to create an educational environment where young people can pursue academic achievement, develop their sporting potential and grow into confident, capable leaders.
Through our commitment to education, high-performance sport, personal development and community, we aim to create opportunities for students to thrive both on and off the field.
The Islamic College of Sport will continue to build on its foundations, while Aspire College of Sport will extend this vision to a new generation of students and families.
We also thank our current Principal, Hassan Ellahibi, for his leadership and valuable contributions as he concludes his tenure in 2026. We look forward to formally celebrating his time at ICS in due course.
We look forward to welcoming Andrew to the role and working together with our staff, students, families, partners and the wider community as we prepare for this exciting next chapter.
The future of education and sport starts here.
