We are delighted to announce the appointment of Aynur Simsirel as Director of Education for the Bachar Houli Foundation.
Following an extensive search for an outstanding educational leader who can help shape the next chapter of growth and impact across our organisations, we are delighted to announce the appointment of Aynur Simsirel as Director of Education for the Bachar Houli Foundation (BHF). In addition, Aynur will serve as a Non-Voting Board Director for both Islamic College of Sport (ICS) Victoria and New South Wales.
Aynur is one of the most respected leaders in the Australian Islamic education sector. Her career spans more than two decades of executive leadership, governance, school improvement, organisational development and community engagement. Most recently, she served as CEO of Ilim College, where she led strategic renewal, educational improvement and organisational reform across a large multi-campus educational organisation serving thousands of students and hundreds of staff.
Prior to this, she held senior advisory roles supporting independent school leaders across Victoria and has been deeply involved in governance, leadership development and educational excellence throughout her career.
For the BHF, this appointment represents a significant investment in our future. As we continue to grow our reach and deepen our impact in the education sector, communities and leadership development programs across Australia, Aynur‘s expertise will help us strengthen our educational growth, support our principals and colleges.
