The Islamic College of Sport (ICS) community proudly congratulates its past and present students who represented the Bachar Houli Foundation (BHF) in their Talent League clash against the GWS Academy on Saturday, April 25, at Blacktown International Sportspark, NSW.

This fixture marked a significant milestone as it was BHF’s first-ever match in the Talent League. On the day, there was strong representation from past and present ICS students.

Taking the field for the BHF were Khaled El Souki, Abdul Elhouli, Mahmoud Elhaouli, Wasim Kadour, Omar Aboueid, Ahmed Taleb and Noah Taleb. Among them, Aboueid, Ahmed Taleb and Noah Taleb proudly represented the College as past students, continuing to inspire current students through their journey and achievements.

Several players delivered standout performances. Khaled El Souki was recognised as best afield for BHF after an outstanding display, finishing with 28 disposals, three marks and eight tackles, while Wasim Kadour led the way up forward, booting four goals from 14 disposals.

Islamic College of Sport Principal Hassan Ellahibi praised the players for their efforts and the pathway they represent.

“We are extremely proud of both our past and present students who represented the Bachar Houli Foundation in such an important and historic match. Opportunities like this allow our students to showcase their talent at a high level, and to see them performing with confidence is incredibly rewarding for our entire community,” Ellahibi said.

The ICS congratulates all seven players on their involvement in the match, and commends them for representing both the Islamic College of Sport and the Bachar Houli Foundation with pride.
