With over 20 years of experience working in youth sport and recreation programs across schools and Youth Justice facilities, Sevdet joined ICS as the inaugural Head Teacher in 2024.
He is a passionate and enthusiastic professional who brings to the college a wealth of leadership experience and a strong desire to develop school-based programs that shape individuals’ character through real-life learning experiences.
Sevdet has taught in both government and independent school settings, but his true passion lies in Vocational Education. He values its dynamic, hands-on approach to teaching and learning, which equips students with practical skills for a successful and fulfilling life.
Throughout his career, Sevdet has coordinated and led over 40 recreation camps and has delivered First Aid Training to more than 200 participants as a qualified First Aid Trainer.
Sevdet enjoys storytelling and does so with genuine emotion and care, sharing personal experiences from the sports industry with enthusiasm and passion, captivating the hearts of those he intends to inspire.
Michael Chiovitti
Michael is a highly accomplished Strength and Conditioning Coach, holding an ASCA Level 1 accreditation and a Bachelor of Exercise and Sport Science (Honours).
With a wealth of experience across elite sporting environments, Michael has served in high-performance roles with some of Australia’s most prominent teams, including Richmond Football Club (AFL and VFL), the Dandenong Thunder (NPL), Southside Flyers and Deakin Melbourne Boomers (WNBL), and Football Australia’s national youth programs, where he was the Lead Sport Scientist for the Young Socceroos and U18s.
As an athlete, Michael has achieved both national and state titles in futsal and soccer, and his professional career includes notable honours such as a WNBL Championship and an AFC U20 Asian Cup title in his capacity as a High Performance Manager.
His deep expertise in athlete development and high-performance sport makes him a valuable asset to any elite training environment.
